The Tobacco Endgame CRE joins the Global Alliance for Tobacco Control

20 Dec 2023

The NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence on Achieving the Tobacco Endgame has joined The Global Alliance for Tobacco Control (GATC) Community as a Network Participant.

The Global Alliance for Tobacco Control (GATC), formerly the Framework Convention Alliance (FCA), is a global network of civil society actors working towards a world free from the devastating health, social, economic, and environmental consequences of tobacco.

GATC is the only global network dedicated solely to implementing the World Health Organization (WHO) Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) and serves as the leading voice of civil society in strengthening and accelerating progress.

The GATC organization and the GATC Community work collaboratively to address the ongoing tobacco epidemic. By joining the GATC Community, the Tobacco Endgame CRE is now connected to a vast global network of leading tobacco control organizations, advocates, and researchers from around the world, sharing resources and best practice.
