Dr Eden Barrett

Researcher biography
Dr Eden Barrett is a Research Fellow with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Research School of Population Health. She holds a doctorate in public health nutrition, and has a major interest in research underpinning impactful, equity-focused preventive health policy and practice, to support health improvements in the population. Eden is currently conducting quantitative research evaluating the impact and outcomes of the Tackling Indigenous Smoking Regional Tobacco Control Grants, including assessing the effect of the grants on smoking prevalence and other tobacco-related indicators among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
