David Sellars

David is a PhD student who is enrolled at the School of Public Health at The University of Queensland. His PhD project explores the health and environmental impacts of cigarette and vaping waste. He is concurrently working as a Senior Lecturer at James Cook University, Cairns after a successful career as an Environmental Health Practitioner with Queensland Health. David was part of the team that implemented the tobacco legislation introduced into Queensland in 1998. He is eager to further reduce tobacco consumption that has been achieved through the introduction of healthier environments.
