Researcher biography

Sally Plever is a Psychologist (Masters Clinical Psychology) and co-manager of the Queensland Health Mental Health Clinical Collaborative (Qld MHCC), a statewide initiative using collaborative methodology to drive service improvement in adult mental health services. Sally has worked in mental health for over 20 years in clinical and project roles across inpatient, community and secure services. Through her work with the Qld Mental Health Clinical Collaborative she has developed an interest in the physical health of people with serious mental illness. In particular, the use of clinical practice improvement approaches to support routine delivery of physical health care in mental health and smoking cessation interventions for people experiencing serious mental illness.
