Dr Md Arifuzzaman Khan is a Senior Epidemiologist and Allied Health Researcher at the Wide Bay Public Health Unit and Research Division, Queensland Health. He completed his PhD at the School of Public Health at The University of Queensland in 2022. His PhD thesis aimed to generate scientific evidence on leveraging the coverage of effective interventions for smoking cessation by understanding and evaluating the "10,000 Lives", a regional smoking cessation initiative of Central Queensland Public Health Unit, Australia.
