Researcher biography

Professor Michael Farrell (FRCP FRCPsych) has been the Director of the National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) at UNSW since 2011. Prior to that he was Professor of Addiction Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry at Kings College London. His extensive research interests include treatment evaluation, national and international drug policy. Michael is the Chair of the Australian National Advisory Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ANACAD).
