As ASPIRE reflects on past achievements and challenges, they will also look ahead, anticipate new policy challenges, and consider how these might be addressed.

ASPIRE Centre members will share insighs and findings on topics such as tobacco industry interference, Indigenous excellence, tikanga, rangatahi perspectives on nicotine and illicit tobacco. They will also discuss new data and trends on nicotine products (new and emerging) and consider their implications.

Distinguished Professor Emily Banks will also give a public lecture on 1 July (details here: https://www.aspireaotearoa.org.nz/news-events/events/public-lecture-distinguished-professor-emily-banks) and both Emily and Associate Professor Raglan Maddox will give keynote talks on 2 July.

Attendance at the symposium is free and people may attend in-person on online. To register, please visit this site: https://www.aspireaotearoa.org.nz/news-events/events/symposium-achieving-nicotine-free-aotearoa .

The ASPIRE team looks forward to connecting with you and hopes you will be able to join them. If you have any questions, please feel free to email: aspire.aotearoa@otago.ac.nz
