Sisay Mengesha is a PhD student at The University of Queensland, Australia. Previously, he held research positions focusing on tobacco control policy and the epidemiology of tobacco use in Ethiopia, where he worked at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute for over 10 years. Sisay’s doctoral research centres on understanding the availability and use of illicit tobacco and nicotine vaping products in Australia.
