This research will help ensure lung cancer screening delivers the best health outcomes to people at risk of lung cancer, by detecting lung cancer early, and giving people the greatest chance to quit smoking.

A new MRFF project led by Flinders University and CRE Tobacco Endgame researchers has been awarded with $854,636.30 in funding in the latest MRFF Maternal Health and Healthy Lifestyles, to address vaping among young Australians.

The Gulibaa (Coolamon) Project, led by A/Prof Michelle Kennedy, Dr Raglan Maddox and colleagues, is one of two First Nations led projects that have been awarded MRFF funding. This project will co-design a model of care across NSW to support smoking cessation among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women through Indigenous-led collaborative research.
